Eye Wrinkles (Crows Feet)

Treat The Signs of Age

Anti wrinkle injections are highly effective for treating Crow’s Feet, but they have a secondary, equally important effect. Botox works by blocking signals to the muscles that cause contraction, and over time those muscles weaken, reducing the strength of the contractions which cause Crow’s Feet in the first place. Botox injections are a fantastic way to retrain the muscles of your face, acting to prevent or reduce the development and deepening of existing lines. If you’re considering Botox injections to minimise Crow’s Feet, it might also be worth considering using them for other areas of the face subject to lines and wrinkles, including:

  • Anti-wrinkle injections inhibit the signals which cause muscles to contract, simultaneously plumping the skin while giving it a break from the repeated movements that cause wrinkles.

  • Some clients experience a little discomfort, especially if nervous around needles, but Botox injections are a non-surgical treatment and the procedure is largely pain-free.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections have been used safely for decades across the world. Advancements in research and application mean that they are now used medically to help with teeth grinding and excessive underarm sweating.

    Botox is not advised for pregnant or nursing women, or for clients with muscle or nerve conditions that might not interact well with anti-wrinkle injections.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections are suitable for clients who want to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, forehead lines, or frown lines.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections can be administered in about 30 minutes, though if it’s your first visit, extra time will be needed to consult with you, helping us understand your desired outcome.

  • Results typically last for 3–4 months. However, if the treatment is repeated over time, your muscles will be ‘retrained’ by the weakening effect of Botox, reducing the strength of the contractions which cause wrinkles in the first place. As this occurs, the length between treatments can extend, and twice yearly injections can be enough to maintain the results.
